My son Billy is graduating senior and a pitcher who will be playing DII baseball next season. Since I never pitched, I turned to learning through books and videos. As you might know, here in Florida we play a lot of baseball year-round and there is no shortage of baseball schools, camps and private coaches. Billy has benefited from some of them.

Recently, we have been working with Skip Fast. We have been working with Skip by submitting videos via the internet of Billy's bullpen sessions and making the suggested adjustments. You might wonder if that's really possible. It is not only possible, in many ways it's better than working "live" with a pitching coach.

Most coaches begin coaching and correcting, even when they see little to start. With video analysis, your entire motion is frozen frame-by-frame and is there for any trained eye to carefully examine... to compare the movement of one part of the body with the others. This careful analysis is not really possible just by watching a player throw live.

The player actually sees for himself frame-for-frame and sees what the coach is trying to address comparing one set of frames with another and even to professional pitchers today. There may be some observations that may have to be made, live session. In my opinion, it is possible to train through video analysis. I believe my son made great advancement through Skip's video training and analysis.

All in the comfort of our own home.
